Allison has worked in the mental health field for 7 years. She is charge of the day to day to operations to ensure everything runs smoothly. Allison is always ready to listen and help solve any problems, or just for a friendly chat. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her 3 now grown kids and her 2 puppies, reading, putting together Legos, and the color pink.

Sarah Turpin

Office Manager

Sarah is the smiling face at the front desk, the mastermind behind our smooth scheduling, and the one who keeps the front office running day to day. When she’s not busy at work, she’s probably covered in paint, laughing with family and friends, or chasing her adorable (and slightly spoiled) four-legged crew, her dog Minnie and cat Peter.

Barbara Brinton, LCSW

Barbara graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her degree in Social Work. She is fully trained in EMDR with a focus on trauma. She is widowed and the mother of 3 adult children. Barbara loves the water, theater productions, movies, traveling, animals, and the color green. She enjoys getting together with family and friends, attending community events, and Summer time in CDA.

Wayne Timonen, LCSW

Wayne is a compassionate and dedicated counselor who returned from semi-retirement to continue doing what he loves most, helping others navigate life’s challenges. With years of experience, he brings wisdom, empathy, and a deep commitment to his clients’ well-being. Outside the office, Wayne enjoys unwinding with a game of pool or hitting the golf course, where he combines his love for strategy with a healthy dose of fun.

Casey Drake, LMSW

Therapist/Case Manager

Casey specializes in the DD population, play therapy, case management, and CBRS. She is committed to supporting individuals and families while creating a safe space for her clients to explore and grow. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Scooter, and diamond painting.

Samantha (Sam) is a therapist who specializes in play therapy, helping clients and their families navigate social, emotional, and environmental challenges. She has experience in LGBTQ rights/current-issues. She is joined by her service dog, Meme, who provides comfort during sessions.

Fred Itveldt, ARNP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Fred has been working in the mental health field for 30 years and has advanced certification in addictions nursing. He specializes in a variety of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety disorders and OCD, as well as addiction medications.
