Allison has worked in the mental health field for over 5 years. She runs the day to day to operations and is always ready to listen and problem-solve. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her 3 now grown "children" and her 2 puppies, reading, putting together Legos, and the color pink.

Sarah Turpin

Office Manager

Sarah is the smiling face you'll see sitting at the front desk when you walk in. She manages the front office and scheduling. When she is not at work, she enjoys painting, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her dog Minnie.

Jason Pope, LCSW


Jason graduated from Lewis-Clark State College with his degree in Social Work. He has training in EMDR and Skills System. In his free time, he enjoys reading and watching TV. He also enjoys traveling to the Washington and Oregon coast and spending time with his wife and two dogs.

Barbara Brinton, LCSW, RPT


Barbara graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her degree in Social Work. She is fully trained in EMDR with a focus on trauma. She is also registered as a Play Therapist, but no longer works with small children. She is widowed and the mother of 3 adult children. Barbara loves the water, theater productions, movies, traveling, animals, and the color green. She enjoys getting together with family and friends, attending community events, and Summer time in CDA.

Cherish Hill, LMSW


Cherish graduated from Walla Walla University with a clinical MSW degree. She is trained to provide therapy to treat depression, mood disorders, grief, PTSD/ Trauma related disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, LGBTQ+ support and many other mental health conditions for adult individuals. Cherish is trained and Gottman method certified to see couples. She takes a holistic trauma informed approach, customizing treatment to individual needs, providing evidence-based services to clients. Cherish enjoys hiking, fishing, traveling, coffee and volunteering her time in hospice settings.

Kay Martens, FNP, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Kay has a graduate degree in advanced practice nursing and has expertise in treating anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and depression, among other conditions. She is currently working remotely and accepting new patients at The Mental Wellness Clinic via telehealth.

Fred Itveldt, ARNP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Fred has been working in the mental health field for 30 years and has advanced certification in addictions nursing. He specializes in a variety of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety disorders and OCD, as well as addiction medications.
