Counseling

Intake Process:

Adults: Generally, in your first and/or second session, you will meet with a licensed counselor to complete a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. Once the assessment is completed, your next session is focused on developing an individual treatment plan. Treatment plans are updated and reviewed at least every 90 days. Following the treatment plan session, individual counseling begins.

Youth/Adolescents: Generally, in your first and/or second session, you will meet with a licensed counselor to complete a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. Once the assessment is completed (if you have Medicaid/Optum Insurance), a Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Comprehensive Assessment is completed. After the completion of the CANS, an individual treatment plan is completed during your session. Treatment plans are updated and reviewed at least every 90 days. Following the treatment plan session, individual counseling begins. For youth who do not have Medicaid/Optum, the CANS is not completed
